Most DVDs on the market today are play-protected by the Content Scrambling

Section: mail |
Depends: libc6 (>= 2.3.5-1) |
This program performs the decoding of transfer-encoded text type MIME
messages and message parts. The message in its entirety is read from
standard input.
The decoded message is written to standard output; hence, this program
behaves as a filter which may be placed wherever convenient.
It is assumed that the message has reached its point of final delivery and
at that point 8-bit encodings of text types can be handled natively. Hence
the need for 6- or 7-bit transfer encodings is not present any more.
Only some cases are handled:
- Encoded header fields are decoded from QP or B encoding.
The charset, if not given, is assumed to be ISO-8859-1.
(Brokenly-encoded headers may not be fully decoded.)
- Parts or subparts of content-type text/* are decoded.
- All other content-types are passed transparently.
Anything wrapped in type multipart/signed is left intact.

vdr-plugin-xine is a plugin for vdr which allows you to use xine, gxine or
some other front end for libxine as a display, instead of relying on an MPEG
decoder / TV output card.
xine >= 0.99.2 and gxine >= 0.4.0 have built-in support for vdr. Other front
ends may need to be patched.
If you want to use the SVDRP 'grab' command, you'll need mjpegtools (from
Christian Marillat's archive), y4mscaler and netpbm.

Yadex is a Doom level (wad) editor for Unix systems running X, including
Linux. It supports Doom alpha, Doom beta, Doom, Ultimate Doom, Final
Doom, Doom II, Heretic and also, in a more or less limited way, Hexen
and Strife. It is available under the terms of the GPL.
Yadex is descended from DEU 5.21. Therefore, as you might expect, it's a
rather low-level editor that requires you to take care of a lot of
detail but on the flip side allows you to control very precisely what
you are doing. In addition, it has many advanced functions that DEU
didn't have, to make certain tedious tasks easy.
